Differences

There are many differences between Finland and France. The biggest change for me was the school. In France the schooldays are long and exhausting while the finnish schools have short days with many breaks to keep the students happy. The only positive change in the school for me was the longer lunch breaks in the middle of the day which allowed us to get a break and some rest. The school in France also has alot more then our school in Finland so it was a bit of a shock at first but was actually quite nice at the end.
Another differnece is the water. In Finland everyone driks water straight from the tap but in France people almost always drink water from bottles. Even though the water is safe to drink it tastes horrible.
In France when you go to a house you never know if you should take of your shoes or not but in Finland you always take them off. If you find yourself in a french house and dont know what to do i recommend lookig at what the house owners do and follow that.
People in France are also alot less shy when they meet new people unlike in Finland where almoast everyone is very shy.
In conclusion the cultures are alot differet and both have their ups and downs but you will get used to them.
