Sports are a big part of French culture. The most popular sport in France is football. They are the current world champions and are very proud if it. Most boys in France play or have played football at some point in their life and most towns and citys have their own teams and stadiums. The french football league is also one of the biggest leagues in the world with millions of fans and famous teams like PSG and OGC Nice.

In Limoges basketball is the most popular sport and their team CSP Limoges play in France's highest division. Boys play more than girls but there are also teams for girls in Limoges.

Sports in school are alot different than the sports in Finland. The students get to choose a sport to play for 3 months and after that they change to another sport. Some of their options are running, swimming and cirkus. I prefer the finnish system of sports in school where everyone gets to play and experence many different sports throughtout the year.
